Firefighters from the Fresno Fire Department responded at approximately 4:07 p.m. Wednesday to the 5500 block of N. Olinda Ave. after multiple 911 calls reported a fence fire spreading toward nearby homes.

Upon arrival, crews found flames extending from a fence to the exterior of one residence, with a neighboring home also threatened. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading further.

Damage was limited to the exterior of the affected home. No injuries were reported, and occupants of both homes are expected to remain in their residences.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
