Two people suffered serious injuries in a solo-vehicle crash in the Fresno area, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday.
CHP said the collision serves as a reminder of the dangers of excessive speed, particularly on unfamiliar roadways.
Authorities did not release details about when or where the crash occurred. They also did not identify the occupants involved.
“The dangers of speed are real, and they too often lead to devastating outcomes,” the CHP said in a social media post.
The agency urged drivers to slow down and remember that no destination is worth risking lives.
