Utah Bull Rider Wins Clovis Rodeo's Xtreme Bulls Title

Stetson Wright of Beaver, Utah, won the Clovis Xtreme Bulls competition and $17,500 after placing first among 40 riders, scoring 87 points in the opening round and 93 points in the final round aboard G-6 Ain’t No Joke from Legacy Pro Rodeo, the Clovis Rodeo announced Thursday.

The rodeo continues Thursday with the first full night of PRCA Rodeo performances featuring bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding. and other events, followed by a concert by country artist Josh Ross.

Friday will include additional PRCA Rodeo performances, a concert by Shane Profitt, and a flyover by the 144th Fighter Wing.

On Saturday, events begin with the annual Rodeo Parade through Old Town Clovis at 9:30 a.m., followed by PRCA Rodeo performances starting at 2 p.m., a veterans salute, a U.S. military flyover. and check presentations to the Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation and Fresno State Veterans.

The rodeo concludes Sunday, with the Kids Special Rodeo at 11 a.m. in partnership with Break the Barriers, a final performance at 2 p.m. featuring the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” theme, and additional check presentations to Clovis Community Hospital and the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
