A drug investigation in Visalia led to five arrests Wednesday after officers served a search warrant at a home where they found methamphetamine, fentanyl, ammunition, and evidence of drug sales, authorities said.

The Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, along with the HOPE Team, Property Crimes Unit, and Special Enforcement Unit, executed the warrant at about 8:19 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Coppola, according to police.

Because of unsafe conditions inside the residence, Visalia Code Enforcement was called and the home was declared unsafe to live in.

Those arrested and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility were identified as:

• James Derrick Jr., 56, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale and operating and maintaining a drug house.
• Stacy Burns, 29, on suspicion of possession of narcotics, operating and maintaining a drug house, and outstanding warrants
• Janette Bergantz, 53, on suspicion of operating and maintaining a drug house, and outstanding warrants.
• Patrick Greer, 39, on suspicion of possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants.
• Kevin Buckelew, 53, on outstanding warrants.
