GV Wire, in partnership with the Community Media Access Collaborative and the Maddy Institute, will host a candidate forum for the open Fresno County Supervisor District 1 seat.
The forum is set for Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m.
Candidates confirmed to attend include nonprofit executive Eric Payne, Mendota Unified Trustee Lupe Flores, Fresno City Councilmember Mike Karbassi, West Hills Community College Trustee Omar Hernandez, Kerman Mayor Maria Pacheco, and Firebaugh Councilmember Felipe Perez.
Supervisor Brian Pacheco, who holds the seat now, is not running for the state Assembly.
Blake Zante of the Maddy Institute will moderate the forum, which will focus on each candidate’s vision for District 1 and plans to address key community issues.

Debate Live-Streamed on Facebook
The debate will be live-streamed on GV Wire’s Facebook page, allowing the public to tune in and hear directly from the candidates.
