Two Fresno men were arrested after a series of early-morning vehicle burglaries in Kerman on Tuesday, police said.
Officers with the Kerman Police Department responded to the first burglary at about 2:08 a.m. in the 200 block of South McKenna, where suspects forced entry into a vehicle and stole about $1,000 worth of tools. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspects and their vehicle.
A second incident was reported at about 4:52 a.m. in the 14500 block of West San Joaquin, where the same suspects allegedly broke into two additional vehicles and took property.
Police said video evidence, along with information provided by property owners, helped investigators identify the suspects as Abel Jaimes, 33, and Gabriel Frias, 30, both of Fresno. Authorities also identified the vehicle involved as a gold or brown single-cab GMC truck.
Officers later recovered the stolen property, which was returned to its owners.
Jaimes and Frias were arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail, police said.
