The California Department of Transportation will conduct asphalt pavement repair operations along eastbound Highway 180 between Frankwood Avenue and the Friant Canal on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One-way traffic control will be in effect, and maintenance crews will use flagging personnel to direct vehicles through the work zone.

Commuters are urged to follow directions from construction staff and anticipate possible delays, which may extend if weather or other events affect the schedule.

Caltrans advises drivers to exercise caution and allow extra travel time through the maintenance area.
