An evacuation advisory was issued in Madera County due to a fire in the area of MAD E0377 Wishing Well near Bass Lake on Thursday.

Emergency personnel are responding to what the county website identified as a structure fire. Officials said there are no road closures in effect at this time.

The advisory is informational only, but residents are urged to monitor the situation and be prepared to take action immediately.

Authorities said people should not wait for an evacuation order to leave if they feel threatened.
