A Fresno man was arrested after authorities said he trespassed at the home of Fresno City Attorney Andrew Janz and threatened a public official, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office told GV Wire on Thursday.
Deputies responded around 3:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of trespassing at a home on North Van Ness Boulevard between Ashlan and Shields avenues in Fresno, according to authorities.
Deputies contacted and arrested a man in the yard of the home. Authorities later identified him as Larry Torrez, 56, of Fresno.
Deputies said Torrez was found in possession of a knife.
Torrez was booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of trespassing, attempted burglary, and threatening a public official.
