Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell, a 2026 candidate for governor, will host his second town hall of the campaign on Monday, Dec. 15, in Fresno.

Rep. Eric Swalwell Town Hall

When: 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

Where: Fresno Convention Center, 848 M St.

Swalwell, 45, is well known in Democratic circles for his talk-show appearances on national and cable networks. He also has a national profile as one of President Donald Trump’s harshest critics. Swalwell helped manage the 2021 impeachment case against Trump.

Swalwell Will Field Questions

Swalwell’s campaign says Monday’s event — which will be held at the Fresno Convention Center — will give voters a chance to share their concerns and ask questions. In addition, he “will outline his vision to lower costs, expand economic opportunity, and make California a state where every family can thrive,” the campaign said in a news release.

In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, Swalwell said it makes him angry to see “Californians running through the fields where they work, from ICE agents or troops in our streets.”

Local small business owner Samantha Leon of Little Lion Photography will open the event and introduce Rep. Swalwell.
