Fresno police arrested Jayden Bush after a woman accused him of slapping her, restraining her, and taking her to her residence against her will, police told GV Wire.

Officers were dispatched about 10:04 a.m. Sunday to a confidential location regarding a possible kidnapping and disturbance.

Investigators learned that Bush and the woman had been in a dating relationship for about three months. Police said Bush saw the woman sitting in the back seat of a vehicle with another man who was partially unclothed.

The woman told officers that Bush slapped her, restrained her and transported her back to her residence against her will. She said Bush continued to engage in verbal and physical altercations with her after they arrived.

The woman eventually asked Bush’s mother for help returning home, and his mother transported her back to her residence, police said.

Officers observed visible injuries that police said were consistent with the woman’s account.

The woman also told investigators that Bush had attempted to recruit her for prostitution and had represented himself as a pimp.

Police located Bush at his residence and took him into custody. He was later booked into the Fresno County Jail.
