Fresno State added Arizona State linebacker K’Vion Thunderbird from the transfer portal and signed American River Community College freshman tight end Gavin Correia on Thursday.

Thunderbird Brings Depth at Linebacker

The 6-foot, 225-pound former Sun Devil accumulated five tackles and one sack in his career at Tempe. Thunderbird has three years of eligibility left.

He’ll be a part of the linebacking corps with transfer Jadon Pearson (Utah State). With seniors Tuasivi Nomura and Malachia Langley graduating, and Phoenix Jackson going to Baylor, they’ll fill the depth chart in the front seven.

JUCO All-Conference Tight End Joins Bulldogs

Correia is a 6-foot-5, 225-pound first-team all-conference performer who had 28 receptions for 306 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.

Senior Jake Boust graduated and junior Kamron Beacham left for the portal, leaving Correia to pair up with Richie Anderson, who made big plays for the Bulldogs late in the season.
