Over his 42 years as a news photographer, John Walker captured many compelling images that struck a chord with readers — and even led to legislation protecting children working in California’s ag fields.

Walker also has documented much of Fresno’s past via his photographic skills and passion for history.

The retired Fresno Bee photographer sat down with GV Wire to shed light on a remarkable career.
