The odds of winning $1 million with an Xtreme Multiplier Scratcher is 1-in-1,212,900.

The man was identified by lottery officials as John Silvestri, whose winnings will be less than the cool million after federal taxes take their cut. The $10 Xtreme Multiplier Scratcher was bought at a store on West Ashlan Avenue just west of Highway 99.

According to the lottery website, the odds of winning $1 million with an Xtreme Multiplier is 1-in-1,212,900.

The 7-Eleven owner will receive $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.
