Fans of “It’s a Wonderful Life” — and of live theater — will want to check out upcoming performances of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” in Clovis.

The production by Action Community Theater, Action Community Church, and Light O’ Mine Media will feature seven actors performing more than 40 roles, accompanied by live foley sound effects.

The play will be free. The proceeds from donations and concessions will be used to help children and families access clean water in Egypt through Action Community Theater’s partnership with The Gateway Project.

“We have an incredible team who have come together to put on this show,” director Max Debbas said in a news release. “The actors, set-crew, prop-crew, and everyone in between have put their energy and time into creating a top-notch production for a good cause.

“We welcome everyone in our community to put Christmas cheer into action by enjoying a show and helping raise funds for people in need.”

Performances will be at the following times and dates: 7 p.m. Dec. 10, 16, and 17; 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 11. The theater is at 101 Sunnyside Ave., Clovis.

Seating is limited. Reserve tickets at www.ActionCommunityTheater.com.
