Fresno County Coroner Seeks Relatives of Man Found Dead in Canal

The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating relatives of a 63-year-old Fresno man who was found dead in a canal near Biola.

Nghia Ngo was found July 31 in a canal near West Shaw and North Goldenrod avenues, according to the Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.

Officials said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Coroner’s Office staff have searched numerous personal records in an effort to locate Ngo’s family but have been unable to reach any relatives.

Finding immediate family members is necessary before the Coroner’s Unit can release Ngo’s body for burial.
