The Clovis Police Department reported 42 DUI arrests in March as part of its monthly statistics released, the department reported on Friday.

The March report showed officers handled 7,905 calls for service, including police reports, traffic stops, collisions, community contacts, and follow-ups. During the same period, police recorded 493 total arrests and responded to 3,302 emergency 911 calls.

Along with DUI arrests, the department reported 110 collisions, 37 vehicle burglaries, and 11 residential burglaries for the month.

The department said its “Monthly Spotlight” series is intended to provide a snapshot of local activity and public safety trends.
