A Dinuba man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting deaths of a couple outside a residence earlier this week, Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward announced.
Miguel Angel Saldana, 43, allegedly shot and killed a male and female victim on Tuesday in front of a Dinuba home. Authorities said Saldana was arrested a short time later.
Saldana is charged with two counts of murder. Prosecutors have also filed special allegations, including that he personally discharged a firearm causing great bodily injury, that the case involves multiple murders, that he used a weapon, and that the crime involved planning, sophistication and professionalism. Additional allegations state his conduct was violent.
At his arraignment this afternoon, Saldana entered a not guilty plea and remains in custody without bail. A preliminary hearing conference is scheduled for May 4, 2026, in Superior Court.
If convicted, Saldana faces life in prison or the death penalty.
