Russia on Friday acknowledged a U.S.-Russia economic proposal tied to Ukraine, after President Volodymyr Zelensky disclosed what he called the roughly $12 trillion “Dmitriev package,” the Kyiv Independent reported.
The framework, linked to Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev, envisions joint ventures in aviation, energy, mining, and fossil fuels, and restoration of dollar-based settlements for Russia.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov called the proposals a natural extension of shared interests.
The White House has declined to confirm the package. Analysts say Moscow appears tying progress on Ukraine to a broad reset of economic ties with Washington.
