A social media claim that Chelsea Clinton took home $84 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development is false, according to Newsweek.
The claim originated from a chart circulating on Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, by Data Republican.

The chart depicted financial flows between organizations, including a box labeled “Bill Hillary & Chelsea Clinton” with “gross receipts” totaling $83,624,489.
However, the employer identification number in the chart corresponds to the Clinton Foundation, not USAID.
Snopes reported that the Clinton Foundation has not received funding from USAID since at least the 2008 fiscal year, based on data from USAspending.gov.
While the Clinton Health Access Initiative received a $7.49 million grant from 2019 to 2021, it is a separate nonprofit.
The only known federal award to the Clinton Foundation was a $49,998 grant from AmeriCorps National in 2010.
Additionally, tax filings published by ProPublica show that Chelsea Clinton has not received compensation from the Clinton Foundation since at least 2013.
