Officers took Flores into custody at a residence near the intersection of La Habra Street and East Mission Avenue after executing a search warrant.

Flores, who was already under community supervision following a previous release, is now facing homicide charges for the Sept. 9 shooting that occurred near the intersection of West North Bear Creek and Shadowbrook drives.

Got a Tip?

Investigators believe Flores wasn’t acting alone and are urging anyone with information about a second suspect to come forward.
