Table Mountain Concert Series Returns to the Big Fresno Fair with Star-Studded Lineup

The Table Mountain Concert Series returns in October to the Paul Paul Theater during the 2024 Big Fresno Fair. The 13-night event will feature concerts throughout the fair. Tickets are on sale now and available online or at the box office.

Here’s a list of the concert lineup and performer profiles:

Walker Hayes

Date: Oct. 2
Time : 7 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $75 | $60 | $50 | $40

Country singer Walker Hayes released his smash hit ā€œFancy Likeā€ in 2021, topping every country music sales and streaming chart. The song spent over six months at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, reached the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and hit No. 1 at country radio. It also earned him his first Grammy nomination for ā€œBest Country Song.ā€ Hayes is now one of the top-selling and most-streamed artists in country music.

Sugar Ray

Date: Oct. 3
Time: 7 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $42 | $32 | $22

With over 10 million records sold, four Top 10 songs, and more than a billion streams, Sugar Ray — co-founded by Mark McGrath (vocals) and Rodney Sheppard (lead guitar) — embodies the endless summer of popular music and culture.

Their 1997 double-platinum album “FLOORED” produced the hit single ā€œFly,ā€ making them a household name. The follow-up album, “14:59,” achieved triple-platinum status and expanded their discography with hits like ā€œSomeday,ā€ ā€œFalls Apart,ā€ and ā€œEvery Morning.ā€

Sheila E. With Special Guest Midnight Star

Sheila E. became a top session and touring musician before age 20, performing and recording with artists such as Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Gloria Estefan, and Stevie Nicks.

Her debut album, “The Glamorous Life,” featured the Grammy Award-nominated Top 10 hit of the same name and a second Top 40 single, ā€œThe Belle of St. Mark.ā€ She served as drummer, songwriter, and musical director for Prince’s backup band, showcasing her producing, arranging, and performance talents throughout the music and film industries.

Midnight Star began their musical career in 1976, and the band is known for hits like ā€œMake It Last,ā€ ā€œSearching for Love,ā€ ā€œFreak-A-Zoid,ā€ ā€œNo Parking on the Dance Floor,ā€ and ā€œWet My Whistle.ā€ Classics like ā€œOperatorā€ and ā€œMidas Touchā€ are also part of their discography.

Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea: A Unique Musical Ensemble

Founded in 1999, Mariachi Divas is an all-female ensemble with members from Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Islands. A two-time Grammy Award winner with seven nominations and three Latin Grammy nominations, Mariachi Divas is one of the longest-running all-female mariachi groups.

El Flaco vs. El Mimoso

Date: Oct. 6
Time: 7 P.M.

El Flaco
Luis Angel, aka ā€œEl Flaco,ā€ is a Banda singer who was formerly the frontman for Banda Los Recoditos (2003-2018). He weaves romanticas, rancheras, and other styles into emotional and lyrical essences. His 2021’s ā€œLa Textileraā€ was a collaboration with El Mimoso (Luis Antonio López) and registered more than 60 million streams. Later that year, his solo set ā€œLa Ley de la Vidaā€ landed inside the Top Ten at Mexican Regional streaming and stayed there for 14 weeks.

El Mimoso
Luis Antonio López Flores, better known as ā€œEl Mimoso,ā€ was once vocalist for Don Cruz LizĆ”rraga’s widely adored Banda El Recodo. López incorporates elements of the regional styles NorteƱo, Ranchera, and Cumbia in his solo career.

The Righteous Brothers

Date: Oct. 7

The Righteous Brothers have been entertaining audiences for over 60 years. Original member Bill Medley has kept the group’s legacy alive, with singer Bucky Heard completing the duo. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the group is known for legendary hits that have defined a generation, including “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’,” “Unchained Melody,” “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” “Soul and Inspiration,” “Ebb Tide,” and “Rock and Roll Heaven.”

Big Daddy Weave

Date: Oct. 8

Big Daddy Weave is a Christian band known for numerous No. 1 singles, including their RIAA Platinum Certified hit ā€œRedeemed.ā€ The song spent 11 weeks at No. 1 and was named Song of the Year at the first annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, earning Dove Award and Billboard Music Award nominations. The band has amassed over 1 billion career streams and received numerous honors, including a Dove Award, ASCAP and BMI Awards, and the prestigious Rich Mullin Artist Impact Award.

The band plays rock, rap, reggae and funk, and have been entertaining fans for 32 years. They’re one of the longest-running original lineups in rock. They’ve sold over 9 million records in the U.S. Ten of their albums have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart, and nine of their singles have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Alternative Radio Chart, including three No.1 singles, ā€œDown,ā€ ā€œLove Songā€ and ā€œDon’t Tread on Meā€ along with ā€œAmber,ā€ ā€œAll Mixed Up,ā€ ā€œCome Originalā€ ā€œCreatures for Awhile,ā€ ā€œHey You,ā€ and ā€œSunset in July.ā€

The All-American Rejects

The alt-rock band The All-American Rejects has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. With smash hits like ā€œDirty Little Secret,ā€ ā€œMove Along,ā€ ā€œSwing, Swing,ā€ and ā€œIt Ends Tonight,ā€ their music resonates with millennials.

Their single ā€œGives You Hellā€ peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Pop chart, topped the iTunes chart, reached No. 5 as the most downloaded song, and was the most played song of 2009.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers

Date: Oct. 11
Time: 7 P.M.

Formed in 1973, Thorogood and his band have put on 8,000 performances and sold more than 15 million albums. His blues sound became a staple of 1980s U.S. rock radio, with hits like his original songs “Bad to the Bone” and “I Drink Alone.” In addition to Thorogood, today’s lineup includes Jeff Simon and longtime Destroyers Bill Blough, Jim Suhler, and Buddy Leach.

G-Eazy

Date: Oct. 12
Time: 7 P.M.

The multi-platinum recording artist and producer is known for his smooth raps, pristine production, and versatile range. His third full-length studio album, “The Beautiful & Damned” (2017), debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and featured two No. 1 radio hits: ā€œNo Limitā€ featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, and ā€œHim & Iā€ featuring Halsey.

The album has since been certified platinum by the RIAA. The 5x platinum single ā€œNo Limitā€ has been streamed over 1 billion times worldwide to date. The “Beautiful & Damned” followed his platinum-certified sophomore album, “When It’s Dark Out” (2015), which included the 5x platinum single ā€œMe, Myself & Iā€ featuring Bebe Rexha.

Calibre 50 with Banda Carnaval

Date: Oct. 13
Time: 7 P.M.

Calibre 50
Calibre 50 are an award-winning norteƱo quartet from MazatlĆ”n, Sinaloa. Their 2010 debut album, “Renovar o Morir,” received the Lo Nuestro Award for Regional Mexican New Artist of the Year. In 2012 the band released a duet with the band Carnivale, “Gente Batallosa,” which became the most played song of the year in Mexico and netted the band a Billboard Award for Song of the Year Vocal Collaboration.

Banda Carnaval
Banda Carnaval are a regional Mexican band from MazatlĆ”n, Sinaloa. They’re known for songs like “PĆ­deme,” “Olvidarte No SerĆ” Sencillo,” and “El Mentiroso.” In 2014, “El Que Se Enamora Pierde” placed high on airplay charts, and the title track from “La Historia de Mis Manos” placed in the top spot on the Mexican Regional Songs chart, remaining there for several weeks.

Dwight Yoakam

Date: Oct. 14
Time: 7 P.M.
Ticket Prices: $55 | $45 | $35

Country singer Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and is a 21-time nominated and multiple Grammy Award winner. He has 12 gold albums and nine platinum or multi-platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart and another 14 landing in the Top 10. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted on Billboard, with 14 peaking in the Top 10. In 2013, Yoakam was granted the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association, and in 2019 he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in the Songwriter/Artist category at the 49th anniversary Gala.
