A 50-year-old Fresno man was arrested Tuesday on seven felony charges involving the alleged sexual abuse and exploitation of a minor from October 2025, according to Fresno Police Department arrest logs and Fresno County Jail records.

Mariano Lozano Hernandez was arrested at 5 p.m. Tuesday and booked into the Fresno County Jail with bail set at $205,000, records show.

Fresno police confirmed the charges against him. Authorities did not provide additional information about the allegations or circumstances surrounding the arrest.

Jail records show Hernandez faces several felony sex-crime charges involving a minor. Charges include allegations of sexual contact with a 14- or 15-year-old, oral sex with a minor, sexual penetration of a person under 18, and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

He also faces a felony child endangerment charge alleging that he caused a child to suffer physical or mental harm.

Two other felony charges involve alleged child pornography. Jail records accuse Hernandez of using a minor to produce or sell pornographic material. Records allege him of selling, sending, or possessing obscene material involving a minor.

No additional details about the alleged victim, Hernandez’s relationship to the minor, or how the investigation began were provided by Fresno police.
