A 16-year-old was arrested Friday in connection with a September shooting at a Tulare skate park that killed one teenager and injured another, police said.

The Tulare Police Department SWAT team, assisted by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, served search warrants around 7 a.m. at two homes in the 200 and 300 blocks of West Vetter Drive.

Police said the 16-year-old was arrested without incident in connection with the Sunday shooting.

The shooting killed a 17-year-old Tulare resident and injured a second 17-year-old juvenile.

Police said detectives have continued investigating the shooting throughout the week and are following leads and gathering evidence.
