Two men were arrested after attempting to run from a traffic stop in Madera, where officers recovered a privately manufactured “ghost gun,” police said.

Madera police said officers conducted the traffic stop Wednesday in the area of Vineyard and Washington avenues. During the stop, two suspects attempted to flee on foot.

Officers ultimately arrested Oscar Dominguez, 21, and Angel Lopez, 22, and recovered the firearm, according to police.

Police did not provide additional details about the traffic stop or what charges Dominguez and Lopez face.
