Two men were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Madera business earlier this month, police said.

Madera police officers responded about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 12 to a local business after two masked men entered, displayed a firearm to an employee, and demanded cash from the register.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from the surrounding area and gathered evidence that helped identify the people believed to be responsible, according to police.

Antonio Bolanos, 22, and Gumaro Frias, 36, were arrested in connection with the robbery.

Both men were booked into the Madera County Jail on robbery charges.
