A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and child endangerment after a two-vehicle crash in Fresno with her three children in the vehicle, police said.

Fresno police officers responded about 7:05 p.m. Monday to the area of Clinton Avenue and Effie Street for a report of a two-vehicle collision.

Officers contacted both drivers and noticed one of them, identified as Shadae Hunter, had red, watery eyes and slurred speech, according to police.

Police said Hunter failed field sobriety tests and registered blood alcohol levels of 0.24% and 0.22%.

Hunter’s three children, ages 12, 9 and 4, were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, police said. The children were released to their fathers.

Hunter was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
