The Fresno Police Department’s Motors Unit monitored areas known for street racing activity. Police said only one sideshow was observed, drawing a large crowd to a parking lot, but no stunts were reported.
Officials said there were no additional calls for street racing or sideshows and no major traffic issues reported during the operation.
During the enforcement effort, officers stopped 61 vehicles, issued 41 citations, towed four vehicles and made one state referral. Four people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
