Tulare County Grass Fire Contained at 2 Acres, Damages Trailer and Outbuilding

Fire crews on Wednesday contained a grass fire to 2 acres in the Tulare County community of Goshen, authorities said.

The Tulare County Fire Department said crews responded to the fire in the area of Effie Drive with assistance from the Visalia City Fire Department and Kings County fire personnel.

Officials said the fire damaged one outbuilding and one travel trailer. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Fire crews are expected to remain at the scene for the next several hours, authorities said.

Residents were asked to avoid the area if possible.
