Fresno Police Arrest Man After Reported School Burglary at Elementary School

A 41-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday after Fresno police responded to a reported burglary in progress at Susan B. Anthony Elementary School, authorities said.

Officers responded at about 2:45 a.m. to the school, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Police said responding officers contacted the man on school grounds and found him in possession of burglary tools.

During the investigation, officers discovered forced entry had been made into one of the classrooms.

The man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, possession of burglary tools and burglary, police said.

Police have not identified the suspect at this time.
