Friday is comedy night as Central Valley native Bruce Gray returns to headline the show. It’s hosted by Mike Wooten and includes performances from a roster of local comedians such as Feather Da’wyz, Isaiah Washington, Dana Turner, Tony Le, and more.

Saturday’s concert is comprised of Central Valley artists. Headlining is The Box, which performs throwback hip hop, R&B, soul, dance, and pop. There’s Danielle Rondero & The Nitty Gritty who refer to themselves as “Soul/funk wrecking crew from the heart of California.” Rounding out the lineup is rock band The Dying Suns, indie pop band Seven Asterisk, and Green Giant.

Relive the magic of seeing the classic film “The Wizard of Oz” on the big screen on Sunday. The film stars Golden Age actress Judy Garland under the direction of Victor Fleming. It was an adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved novel and is considered to be among the greatest films of all time.

American Cornhole Organization Fresno Major 2024
The second annual American Cornhole Organization Fresno Major will take place at the Fresno Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday.
Teams from California, Michigan, and Mississippi will compete in the tournament for rankings, division purses and payouts, bonuses and a prize jersey.
You can spectate or join in on the fun in the Bagmaster Quads competition. It is $40 for single participants, $80 for doubles, $30 for coeds and seniors, and juniors play for free.

American singer and television personality Chiquis Rivera will bring her Diamantes Tour to the Saroyan Theatre on Saturday. She’s the daughter of Jenni Rivera, considered to be one of the most important female artists in regional Mexican music.
Chiquis is making a name for herself in the banda genre. She has received 2 Latin Grammy Awards, 2 Lo Nuestro Awards, and a Grammy nomination. She’ll be backed by her band Banda Abeja Reina.
