Fresno Sheriff's Detectives Hunt for '90s Lexus Linked to Shooting Death

A vehicle believed to be linked to the 2022 shooting death of 19-year-old Angel Zuniga has been identified as a late 1990s light-colored Lexus LS400 with a partial license plate of 8YKX***.

Shots Fired at Halloween Costume Party

On Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at about 1:40 am, the dispatch center received a 911 call of shots fired at 8096 E. Hedges Ave. near Olive and DeWolf avenues in Fresno. A large Halloween costume party was taking place with about 200 guests. A disturbance broke out and shots were fired. Zuniga was struck and died at the scene.

The majority of partygoers quickly left the home. Deputies then arrived and questioned the remaining guests. No arrests have been made in this homicide.
