River Park Recruitment Event for Community Medical Centers Is Tuesday

If you’re looking for a job in the medical field, think about stopping by River Park Shopping Center on Tuesday evening.

Community Medical Centers will host a recruitment fair at the River Park Farmers Market, near Teazer World Tea Market, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a news release.

The hospital network is seeking to fill positions ranging from all areas of nursing to medical assistants, patient care techs, security, and more.

Some qualifying candidates may receive sign-on bonuses of as much as $10,000.

Recruiting Event More Than Just Job Offers

The network will provide refreshments to candidates and provide a kids’ activity center for those with children.

Registered nurses interested in labor and delivery can win a two-night getaway worth $2,000, according to the release.

The hospital network offers a variety of benefits that include retirement plans, vacation time, education, and certification reimbursement.

Available positions include:

  • Nursing (all areas)
  • Patient care techs
  • Monitor techs
  • Rehab
  • Medical office assistants
  • Pharmacy techs and pharmacists
  • Medical assistants
  • Environmental services
  • Security

The hospital network includes two general hospitals, a behavioral health center, and two surgical centers — one focusing on heart health.

  • Community Behavioral Health Center
  • Community Subacute & Transitional Care
  • Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital

The network employed 10,300 people as of its most recent report published March 2023.
