At about 11:15 Sunday night, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jonathan Davis was dispatched to a call of puppies abandoned on the side of the road near Raisin City.

Davis, who is not a K9 handler, coaxed the puppies into his patrol vehicle and transported them to Fresno Humane Animal Services for safekeeping, the sheriff’s office reports.

If you wish to adopt these dogs, contact FHAS at 1510 W. Dan Ronquillo Drive in Fresno or call (559) 600-7387.
