Amid talk of decline, most Americans would be shocked to hear that the U.S. has about the same share of global GDP as it did 40 years ago and its companies continue to dominate the world like never before. But Fareed Zakaria says that’s not what it looks like in Washington, where America’s weakness is its politics.
