A 20-year-old woman died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, after being shot in the Cutler area and later taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said. (Tulare County SO)

A 20-year-old woman died Sunday after being shot in the Cutler area, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called just after noon to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where the woman was being treated for a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts by medical staff, she was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities said the shooting occurred in the Cutler area.
