A repaving project on Cedar Avenue between Alluvial and Teague avenues will begin Monday, the city of Fresno announced.

Crews will work on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31. During construction, drivers should expect lane reductions and “No Parking” signs in the work zone, which will be enforced from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The city said the schedule could change because of weather or unforeseen construction delays. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes or expect traffic impacts.

The project is part of a larger federally funded effort to repave Cedar Avenue.

Additional work from Herndon to Alluvial and from Teague to Shepherd avenues is planned for 2026.
