Fresno’s Grand Rising, a wellness-focused day party that swaps cocktails for cold brew and nightclubs for community connection, returns Saturday at Invictus Ink with new vendors, activities and expanded space for guests. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers have already sold most of the 300 tickets available, an increase from August’s sold-out inaugural event that drew more than 200 attendees.

“The first Grand Rising was a success. It was beautiful. It exceeded my expectations,” said Evan Nebeker, Grand Rising organizer and co-found of Grizzly Fest. “It had a rare energy. We’re excited to duplicate it on Saturday.”

Invictus Ink is at 624 Broadway Street in downtown Fresno.

Grand Rising Adds Run and New Vendors

This time, the festivities will kick off early with a 5K and 10K run starting at 8:15 a.m. at the same location. Nebeker said that runners can just show up to join in with no sign-up required.

New features include a cold plunge, photo booth, citrus table, and merchandise such as fans, bandanas and coffee mugs.

The food and beverage lineup has also been refreshed: Ohana’s Food Pantry will serve musubi and island-inspired bites, while local Chef Anna will prepare pastries and omelets. Saint Goods will provide matcha, and Hapa Coffee will offer both fresh brews and canned grab-and-go drinks.

Other vendors include Valley Cold Plunges, Hydroot, Ohana Massage Team, Imagination Organization for free face painting, Plant Envy, and Drip Factor Mobile Service with vitamin drip and IV treatments.

Music will be provided by local DJs KG559, JU and Kay Rich.

Nebeker said the event aims to create meaningful conversations and lasting connections in a sober setting. “It’s overwhelmingly positive,” he said. “This is a safe space where anyone can feel comfortable and accepted.”

Tickets start at $6. More information is available online.
