Fishing or just enjoying an outing at Lake McClure and Lake McSwain has become a whole lot easier.

Visitors to the Mariposa County lakes can can now buy day-use, boat passes, and annual passes in advance via the Yodel app.

After buying a pass, visitors can drive straight through the gate without stopping.

“This makes it easier than ever to enjoy the beauty of the two lakes — whether you’re out for a hike, launching your boat or just soaking up the scenery,” said Brooke Gutierrez, director of parks and recreation for Merced Irrigation District.

What you need to know:

  • There are no refunds so be sure of your plans before buying a pass.
  • When selecting a park in the app, your day use pass is valid at all parks for the day.
  • Frequent visitors can purchase an annual pass through the app. It is valid at all parks for 12 months from the date of purchase.

To purchase your pass on Yodel, visit www.LakeMcClure.com and click on “Park Passes,” or visit the Yodel portal directly at https://yodelportal.com/mid.

To download the Yodel app, click here.

In addition, a feature on the LakeMcClure.com website allows visitors to virtually travel through the campgrounds and then select the site they want. For reservations, click here or visit www.LakeMcClure.com and click “Book Now.”
