Instagram Down for Thousands of Users, Downdetector Shows

Instagram is experiencing a possible outage Tuesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 10,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 2:32 p.m. PDT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with the mobile application and website.

Update at 2:37 p.m.

More than 12,000 users have now reported an issue with Instagram.

Update at 2:38 p.m.

More than 18,000 users have reported an issue with the platform. Instagram has not immediately responded to a request for comment.
