A 32-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a homicide after a medical emergency was reported early Saturday morning.

The Fresno Police Department confirmed that Kristina Meza was pronounced dead at Community Regional Medical Center. Authorities have not released the cause of death at this time.
At approximately 5:23 a.m., EMS responded to the scene at Hedges Avenue near Peach Avenue, where a 9-1-1 caller reported that a woman was in medical distress.
Meza was then transported to the hospital where she died.

Homicide detectives identified Timothy Goodloe, 42, as the suspect responsible for Meza’s death.
Detectives served a search warrant on Monday near North Peach Avenue and Olive Avenue.
Goodloe was taken into custody during the operation and booked into the Fresno County Jail.

Goodloe has been charged with murder and additional special circumstances.
