A three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Herndon and Fruit avenues occurred at about 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, a Fresno Police Department spokesperson told GV Wire.

According to authorities, a westbound vehicle on Herndon lost control and collided with two cars stopped at a red light in the southbound left turn lane.

The vehicle flipped onto its roof, and the driver had to free himself from the overturned car.
No injuries were reported.

The driver responsible for the crash, a white male in his late 20s driving a gray Kia Optima, is in custody on suspicion of DUI, authorities said.
