Two Fresno men are in custody following a robbery at a local market earlier this month, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said in a Thursday news release.

Daniel Manzo, 20, and Jose Munoz Trujillo, 37, were arrested in connection with the Oct. 8 robbery of Adams Market on South Cedar Avenue in Fresno.

The men, who entered the store wearing black clothing, took cash and liquor before fleeing on a motorcycle, authorities said.

Surveillance footage showed one suspect pointing a handgun with an extended magazine at the clerk.

Witnesses described the suspects as wearing a motorcycle helmet and a fur-lined Ushanka-style hat, according to authorities.

After identifying Manzo and Munoz Trujillo as suspects, deputies served a search warrant on Oct. 18 at a residence on North Hughes Avenue, where they took Manzo into custody.

Munoz Trujillo was later apprehended in Exeter and faces charges of robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of stolen property.

Manzo faces charges of robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and probation violation, according to officers.

He is ineligible for bail due to a probation hold.

Fresno Amazon Carjacking, Munoz Trujillo Faces Additional Charges

In addition, Munoz Trujillo and Joshua Garcia, 33, of Porterville, were allegedly involved in an Oct. 3 carjacking of an Amazon delivery van that happened near N. Dower and W. Dakota avenues in Fresno, according to authorities.

Authorities say the pair, armed with a gun, stole the van and fled in it and a black Toyota Corolla.

Deputies say they tracked down Garcia near the abandoned van and found packages and a loaded gun in the Toyota.
