Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is escalating military actions with strong backing from the public, Alex Kliment of GZERO reports.
Over the past week, Israel has targeted Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, killing over 1,000 people, assassinated the group’s leader, destroyed a Houthi port in Yemen, and launched Israel’s first northern ground invasion since 2006. Meanwhile, airstrikes continue against Gaza.

Netanyahu, now threatening Iran over its missile attack on Tuesday, enjoys broad support.
A recent Israel Democracy Institute poll shows 80% of Israelis support the Hezbollah campaign, and Netanyahu’s Likud Party has regained strength after recent strikes.
This shift marks a major comeback for Netanyahu, whose popularity waned due to corruption charges and backlash over judicial reforms. However, by focusing on national security, he has unified his base.
