Chukchansi Changes Casino Chips. What's the Deadline to Cash in the Old Ones?

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino patrons face a July 31, 2025, deadline to redeem old casino chips or exchange them for the new version. (GV Wire Composite/David Rodriguez)

Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino in Coarsegold announced it had changed the design of its gambling chips on Monday.

Going forward, patrons must use the new chips to play table games. The old ones, however, retain their value and can be exchanged at the casino’s cash cage.

The casino said in a news release that the deadline to cash in old chips is a year from now — July 31, 2025.
