A 20-year-old man was arrested early Monday after Fresno police said officers found a stolen firearm and evidence consistent with marijuana sales inside his vehicle.
Officers saw two people smoking marijuana in a parked vehicle near Mildreda Avenue and North College Street about 12:34 a.m., police said.
While speaking with the occupants, officers noticed a loaded firearm magazine on the lap of the driver, identified as Christopher Haynes.
Police searched the vehicle and found a 9 mm Glock firearm. A records check showed the gun had been stolen during a burglary in Phoenix, Arizona, according to police.
Officers also found evidence consistent with the sale of marijuana vape products.
Haynes admitted possessing the firearm and was arrested on weapons-related charges and suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, police said.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
