A 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday by Fresno police on two felony rape charges, according to police and arrest records.

Rodney Vang was arrested at 7:32 p.m. and booked into the Fresno County Jail later that night, jail records show.

Arrest records list two felony allegations against Vang: rape by force or fear and rape of a person who was unconscious of the act.

Fresno police confirmed Vang’s arrest and the charges to GV Wire but said additional information could not be released because of the nature of the investigation.

Records associated with the case list Jan. 25 at 4 a.m., though police did not provide additional details about the alleged incident.

Jail records list Vang’s bail at $100,000 on the rape by force or fear charge.

The case remains under investigation.
