Claude AI experienced a possible outage Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 2,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 9:46 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users who reported an issue to Downdetector said that they had issues with Claude Code.

The platform’s status checker says, “We are investigating elevated errors on requests to Claude Mythos 5, Claude Fable 5, Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Haiku 4.5, and other Claude models. We will provide an update as soon as possible.”

Update at 10:08 a.m.

More than 4,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform. Claude’s status checker remains the same at this time.
