Over the weekend, the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office identified the deceased man found on the roof of Fresno High School as Daniel Ramirez, 30, of Fresno.
A coroner’s spokesperson classified the death as not being of a suspicious nature.
Shortly after 11 a.m. Friday, the Fresno Police Department received a call from Fresno Unified School District personnel after a campus employee discovered what was believed to be a dead person on the roof at the north end of the campus.
Police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to the school, police said.
EMS personnel pronounced Ramirez dead at the scene.
Police said at that time the case was being investigated because of the location where the body was found.
