The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified Nghia Ngo, 63, of Fresno as the man who was found dead in a canal Friday morning.
An office spokesman said that Ngo’s death wasn’t regarded as suspicious.
Deputies found Ngo diseased in a canal west of Biola on Friday, July 31.
Shortly after 11 a.m. Friday, someone working near Shaw and Goldenrod avenues reported finding a body in a nearby canal. Members of the sheriff’s dive unit then recovered Ngo’s body.
